Heartbeats


For this project I was tasked with creating a futuristic product for a utopian society. I know one thing, in order to have utopia we must first have productive communication. What allows productive communication? Empathy. Did you know that sound is one of the fastest ways to elicit a certain emotional response? So I focused on creating headphones and a branding campaign inspired by the original headphones, the Walkman. This 1980s inspired retrofuturistic brand campaign is both fun and poignant. Emotions are not the problem, emotions solve the problem. Let’s really
hear each other.
